Today's trail was not as strenuous as yesterdays but just as beautiful. This 6 mile trail started out under the dense canopy of several hundred year old western red cedars, hemlocks and black cottonwood. It followed a mountain gorge with small waterfalls through the timber until it reaches the foot of a lake. Around the lake are several long waterfalls cascading down the surrounding mountains to the lake.
