Today's Hike

Today I took a 9 mile trail that reached a maximum elevation of 5,230 feet.  It began in the tall cedars, progressed through deep underbrush, crossed over mountain streams, traversed over a rock field and ended at a glacier lake - a perfect place to catch my breath and have lunch.

  1. This is why my son enjoys backpacking so much. He get to see scenery that normal people don't get to see.
